Tom Elliott, former Executive Vice President of Automobile Operations at American Honda Motor Co. retired in 2005 after 35 years with Honda.

As a member of the Lions Automobilia Foundation Board of Directors, Tom brings significant automotive experience to the Foundation. During Tom’s 35 years at Honda his responsibilities included National Advertising for Honda And Acura automobiles, Public Relations, Press Events and Auto Shows, Automobile Distribution and logistics, Factory Coordination, and in depth involvement with Honda R&D for all U.S. Honda and Acura product planning and development. While at Honda, Tom served as a Director on several Boards, American Honda Motor Co, Honda North America, and American Honda Finance Co... Tom also served as President of the Natural Gas Appliance company, Fuel Maker, and the founding President of Honda Performance Development.

Born in Los Angeles, CA., Tom grew up in Wilmington and attended Banning High School and graduated with a degree in Marketing from Long Beach State College. Tom met Rick Lorenzen in junior high and they shared growing up and working together in their early years. They both joined the California National Guard and did their basic and advanced training at Fort Ord. Fast forward Sixty-seven years to find Tom and Rick, still the best of friends, continuing to share their interest in fast cars and hot rods, and preserving Southern California’s Car Culture
