The Lions Automobilia Foundation supports youth of all ages to explore the world of the Automotive, Motorsports and Service Vehicle Industries. Students and Young Adults can learn the history of car culture in Southern California and discover the craftsmanship and passion invested in vehicle restoration, maintenance, and design.

The Lions Automobilia Foundation is proud to partner with The SAE Foundation’s A World in Motion® (AWIM ®).
The SAE Foundation’s A World in Motion® (AWIM ®) brings STEM concepts to life for students aged PreK to 12th grade. STEM education can transform the lives of young learners by exposing them to academic majors and careers they might not otherwise know exist. By discovering and pursuing these new career paths, students can build their own futures. AWIM’s STEM@Home resources bring the magic of STEM education anywhere.
Lions Spark Plug Challenge
The Lions Automobilia Foundation welcomes families and encourages our young guest to participate in the Spark Plug Challenge by completing against time, a sibling or a parent to see who can complete a spark plug change in record time.
Career Paths
The Lions Automobilia Foundation Youth Engagement and Career Path Programs are designed to create community awareness by revealing the safety and performance innovations resulting from motorsports and help you discover the many career paths in the motorsports, automotive and transportation industries.
More than a museum, the Lions Automobilia Foundation takes preserving automotive history to the next level with its onsite restoration facility including a custom paint and body department. Our team of talented and veteran restoration experts not only build the most beautiful vehicles, but they also support the Lions Youth Engagement and Career Path Program by providing seminars and workshops to ignite the next generation of builders and designers.
The Lions Automobilia Foundation Supports
The Lions Automobilia Foundation is proud to support Hot Rodders of Tomorrow, a Nationwide High School Engine Building Competition and is host to the Hot Rodders west coast competition. In 2022 Lions introduced the Spark Plug Challenge, an opportunity for youth visiting the Lions Foundation to learn how to change a spark plug, then compete for the fastest time, simulating the excitement of crewing on a race car.
Exploring the Origin of Performance Engineering
The Lions Automobilia Foundation offers educational opportunities to discover the origins of countless engineering concepts that lead to the rapid growth of motorsports and automotive performance part advancements. Beyond the historical value of touring the museum adults of all ages and backgrounds can learn about various career paths that the automotive industry offers.
